Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative - OAEI-2009 CampaignOAEI

Conference track

Conference track now contains 15 ontologies from the same domain (conference organization). These ontologies are quite suitable for ontology matching task because of their heterogenous character of origin. Participants of this track should try find all correct correspondences (equivalence and/or subsumption correspondences) and/or 'interesting correspondences', see section below.

Results

Results are continually published at results' web-page.

Data sets

The collection of ontologies is dealing with conference organisation. They have been developed within OntoFarm project. 15 ontologies are included. Each of them is shortly described in the following table. Ontologies have been based upon three types of underlying resources:

Name is derived from name of conference or conference organisation tool. For downloading this ontology, just click on its name or you can download all ontologies at once.
DL expressivity was obtained by Pellet reasoner.

Modalities

Participants should find equivalence and/or subsumption correspondences. These correspondences will be evaluated with several evaluation methods: evaluation based on reference mappings, manual labeling,Data Mining method, Logical Reasoning.

This year, there is no particular modality. However, besides the general goal of this track, within results of participants we will also try to find 'interesting individual correspondences' ('nuggets') which could represent complex mappings. This kind of evaluation will be based on manual labelling.

We ask participants of this track to send us zip archive with all alignments in one directory with the following naming policy: ontology1-ontology2.rdf.
